Atomic Hooligan Remix of Groove Armada

Atomic Hooligan did an official remix of Groove Armada's "The Girls Say" last year that was supposed to be released.  Due to label problems it was never released and doesn't look like it ever will be.

The Hooligan boys got word of this from Groove Armada themselves and were told that they can do whatever they want with the remix.  They sent it to me, I pass it on to you.

Send your friends here to the blog to get this tune (and the others that are available for free).  Spread the word about Club Phunk!

LABEL NEWS: Pure Filth

DOM ALMOND
A: "WELCOME BACK"
AA: "LET IT FLOW"
"YOUR ADDICTION" (Digital Bonus Track)
HBPF07. Released June 2008

Dom's back!
Not one to rest on his laurels, Dom returns to Pure Filth to deliver this funk-laden and noisy, crowd-pleasing EP. Getting more bounce for your ounce, with stripped back drums and bass and edit-heavy - 'Welcome Back' is layered with deeply resonant melodics and vocal samples. Grooving along with plenty of energy and party dynamics this is sure to please Pure Filth fans and newcomers alike with a catchy bass hook and its clean, crisp sonic onslaught.

Dom Almond - "Welcome Back"

Without coming up for air on the flip Dom puts us straight back into danger-funk territory with a detroit bass breakdown before he lets it all flow with popping and skippy drums, energetic edits and a pitch-bended mind-melting lead hook which just keeps twisting, turning and switching. One for the bubblers fo real!

Dom Almond - "Let It Flow"

In addition the package is backed with bonus, digital only track 'Your Addiction' which is a throwdown of screechy leads and a big, fizzy sound-scape which sounds like Slash on a huge dose of acid jamming on the funky drummer! I defy you not to move to this one!
