Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness in a quiet American suburb.
You know something's not right when you hit up your favorite online music retailers to get some fresh tunes for the clüb and you end up buying 2 dance tunes.... and 20 classic reggae hits.
Super Beagle - "Dust Out A Sound Bwoy"
Is it just me? or is 'dance music' getting rather uninteresting these days?
Artist: Myagi Release: 3 Years of Sunrise - Album Sampler #1
a) Shapeshifter Pt 1 (Malente Remix)
aa) Shapeshifter Pt 2 (Rebel Sketchy Remix)
Label: Howlin' Records
"3 Years of Sunrise", due out this summer, is a cross-genre album that pulls influences from across the board, working as much as a chill out album as it does a collection of club bangers, and Shapeshifter(pt's 1 and 2), is one of the albums highlights.
A long standing "hands in the air" moment in Myagi's live set, the original Shapeshifters are a rocking blend of live bass, monster breaks, a minimal house groove and huge ravey synths, all in all providing ample material for some killer remixes...
These reworkings by faves Malente and Rebel Sketchy have been monsters on the dancefloor since they were submitted, we're sure you'll love em!
Shapeshifter Pt 1 - Malente Remix: File this one under "extremely wrong electro madness"... Malente turns in a whopper of chunky, funky electro with very seriously twisted synth lines and a ball busting house groove. Sure to be a hit with fans of the cutting edge electro sound.
Shapeshifter Pt 2 - Rebel Sketchy Remix: Rolling basslines, big breaks, high energy funk... this track has it all, and more... Payback Project stalwart Rebel Sketchy gives it up with a huge breakdown that throws people for a loop then puts it into overdrive... killer track!
